It is a requirement that all new patio structures require approval from your local shire 10sqm or above.
Yes, we normally will apply for council approval on your behalf. The documents take 7 days to prepare. We will submit all the required drawings – site plan, elevation and engineering specifications.
The approval process is different for all shires. A building license application can take anywhere up to 3-6 weeks to receive. So the average time from start to finish is 8 weeks.

Building Approvals
At Gingin Patios we handle the entire council approval process for our clients to receive their building permit. It is required by the law for each new building structure to attain a permit to build.
If your project requires planning approval as well, we can help you submit the application on your behalf prior to the building permit.
